EXECUTIVE TEAM

AMOS ADLER M.Sc.

Prior to founding MEMOTEXT in 2005, Amos was a business solutions architect and voice recognition business analyst for the Bell Canada group of Companies. Throughout his career, Amos has lead the design, implementation and integration of various CRM, ERP, Speech Recognition, IVR and web 2.0 - legacy system integration initiatives with several enterprise clients. In addition, he brings a wealth of experience in ethnographic analysis of user requirements and rapid application development of consumer oriented system prototypes.

Amos holds a Master of Science in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from The London School of Economics with a specific focus on user-oriented systems design methodologies.

 

THOMAS CORCORAN, P.Eng, MBA, ICD.D

Mr. Corcoran has held senior international and domestic executive roles at IBM Canada, IBM Corporation (Armonk, New York), Confederation Life, KPMG and Canada Life (Canada and U.K.). Regarded as a specialist in corporate restructuring and performance management, Mr. Corcoran, is now focusing his energy on corporate governance. He is currently Chairman, NexgenRx Inc., an electronic health claims paying service provider.
For more than a decade, Tom has played a leadership role at Bridgepoint Health Centre – a hospital specializing in complex chronic disease management. He is currently the Board Chair for the hospital. In addition to health care, his community service record includes Governor, University of Waterloo; Director, Granite Club; Chair, President’s Advisory Council, University of Waterloo; Chair, Board of Governor’s, Crescent School; Director, National Ballet of Canada; President & Chair, Ontario Chamber of Commerce; Director, Canadian Chamber of Commerce and Director, YMCA Youth Enterprise Centres of Canada. He is a proud recipient of the 1992 “Canada in Confederation” medal.

 

ALEX OSTRITSKY

Mr. Ostritsky has extensive experience in global aspects of the financial, telecommunications and technical sectors. His involvement includes an array of senior management responsibilities as well as senior consulting engagements. Alex has provided complex integration projects for clients such as Royal Trust, Bank of Montreal and AT&T Canada. He has architected and managed the development of International Financial Systems; Interactive Voice Response Systems; Distributed Database Schemes and Architectures; Telecommunications Systems; E-Commerce and Business to Business Information Systems. Mr Ostritsky holds a B.Sc equivalent from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in the area of Applied Computer Science. (ACPS)
In addition to these activities, for the last 10 years, Mr. Ostritsky was appointed Chief Technical Officer for Transcard Canada. In this position, he was responsible for the development and deployment of a financial system with global reach. This involved oversight and management of a technical team involved in the development and delivery of software modules designed to capitalize on Transcard’s line of business. In September 2001 Mr. Ostritsky was appointed to the position of President of Transcard Canada, with responsibility for managing the launch of new consumer and travel based financial products.

 

MIKI PEER, B.Sc.

While working with MEMOTEXT, Miki is pursuing her PhD in Medical Science at the University of Toronto. Her current research focuses on stress during pregnancy and whether it is associated with an increased risk of allergies in children. Prior to her graduate work, Miki worked as a research assistant for 2 ½ years at the Kunin-Lunenfeld Applied Research Unit (KLARU) and Rotman Research Institute, both at Baycrest Hospital (Toronto), on projects that focused on mild brain injury and stroke. Miki received her Hon. BSc at Trent University (Peterborough, ON) with a joint-major in Biology and Psychology. She brings a wealth of knowledge about medical and psychological research and provides a basis for sound methodological process.


ELISHA ZAVIER, B.A.

Prior to joining the MEMOTEXT team, Elisha was involved in various sales, management and business development initiatives both in financial services and consumer goods. With a Marketing Administration Diploma from Seneca College and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Elisha brings a wealth of project management and customer relationship management experience to the team. From sales and marketing communications management to team leader, Elisha has lead call center implementations and several interactive marketing efforts. Elisha is a professional with a focus on managing in-time, in-scope and on-budget.

 

SANDRA LIEPKALNS, AOCA, ITIL/ITM

A highly skilled, innovative Security Professional with extensive expertise in strategizing secure corporate architectures to meet security, privacy and legislative requirements and as well as reviewing, managing and directing many implementation projects. During her 20 year career she has assessed, designed, managed and implemented secure corporate IT architectures and participated as a security risk advisor for new projects including business and applications, infrastructure, network management, Internet, Portals, eServices, Mobile and wireless technology for companies in North America and Europe.
During her career at MEMOTEXT, Netrus, Ernst & Young and Unilever, she has designed, managed, implemented, marketed and delivered key strategic projects to clients such as BCE Emergis, GO Transit, Ontario Energy Board, Telus, CTV, Sears, etc.
Building success into prominent, complex initiatives by developing trust-based relationships that deliver results, she excels at understanding the big picture, while quickly pinpointing its key elements or issues, and understanding the implications of implementing change. Sandra delivers concise and compelling presentations that invite discussion and lead to decisions.
