As a general rule, MEMOTEXT programs do require patients to provide personal health information. As such, MEMOTEXT has taken steps to ensure its compliance with the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.

As a matter of course, MEMOTEXT practices with respect to a User’s personal health information are in compliance with the HIPAA given the nature of our business which is to provide services
that may enable our clients to use electronic means to collect, use, modify, disclose, retain or dispose of personal health information.

MEMOTEXT ensures that all employees and any other person acting on our behalf understands and complies with the HIPAA restrictions that apply to technology service providers who collect personal health information.
