MEMOTEXT Publishes Whitepaper on Patient Adherence & Digital Health Interventions

“The MEMOTEXT Toolkit” walks readers through the problem of patient non-adherence, explaining the methodology behind our digital health interventions

Posted on July 23, 2015 by Noah Nemoy MEMOTEXT is pleased to unveil “The MEMOTEXT Toolkit” Whitepaper. Authored by MEMOTEXT’s President and Founder Amos Adler M.Sc., Director of Scientific Development Bill Simpson P.hD(c) and Miki Peer P.hD(c), the document explains both the problem of patient adherence and outlines the science behind MEMOTEXT’s methodology.   “The MEMOTEXT Toolkit” is divided into four components. In section one, readers can find an overview of the problem and impacts of medication non-adherence and persistence. In the second, the Whitepaper introduces measures of patient non-adherence and the various interventions to address it, digital or otherwise. The third section is our due-diligence checklist for prospective buyers of digital health and mHealth solutions. In the final section, the whitepaper explains MEMOTEXT’s evidence-based patient adherence methodology and the science behind our digital patient adherence programs.   Other information in the Whitepaper includes a definition of scientific terms, an in-depth explanation on the 5 dimensions of non-adherence and informative charts on the measure of, and treatment for non-adherence. It contains examples of interventions to improve patient adherence, as well as the psychological behavior change theories which MEMOTEXT employs in our solution. “The MEMOTEXT Toolkit” also expands on the validation, personalization, and security aspects of our programs and contains a step-by-step walkthrough of our programs, from patient recruitment and individual assessment, to the health intervention and measuring analytics.   “At its core the MEMOTEXT Toolkit encapsulates what MEMOTEXT is all about.” says Director of Scientific Development Bill Simpson P.hD(c) “A lot of effort went into striking a balance between providing additional scientific information for readers yet keeping it concise and easy to understand. I am proud to have contributed to authoring this project.” Medication Compliance Whitepaper     NOAH NEMOY M.Sc.
