Attendees can expect to learn about a successful collaborative case study in digital health personalization and adherence engagement
PerformRx and MEMOTEXT Corp. are pleased to announce their joint presentation on HealthNHandSM at the Consulate General of Canada’s The Digital Transformation of Patient Care: New Avenues for Pharma Growth Seminar in Philadelphia, on June 15th. HealthNHand is being cited as successful case study, in both digital health personalization and adherence engagement.
Launched 3 months ago, HealthNHandSM was developed by PerformRx, a URAC-accredited, full service pharmacy benefits manager with industry-leading clinical programs, in conjunction with MEMOTEXT a health care technology company. A leading edge personalized digital and mobile health platform, HealthNHandSM is delivered to patients through the participation of AmeriHealth District of Columbia, the largest Medicaid managed care organization in the District.
The digital health intervention works on any mobile phone with web browsing and SMS capabilities. Participants receive reminders to take their asthma medications and complete questionnaires about their health status via interactive voice response, short message service (SMS) or email. HealthNHandSM uses personalized information, targeted support and daily air quality forecasts, generated for each user based on results from their questionnaires, and other patient data. Patients are also given the option to provide additional information allowing for better customization of user experiences, and to view their own progress.
“In many ways, this is a perfect case study on how to run a collaborative digital health intervention.” said Amos Adler, Founder and CEO of MEMOTEXT “HealthNHand is a result of the collaboration of all three parties. The synthesis of PerformRX’s project vision and data analysis, AmeriHealth District of Columbia’s patient recruitment capabilities and MEMOTEXTs personalizing algorithms and digital communications platform, is what made HealthNHand such a great example of digital health personalization and adherence engagement.”
PerformRx is considering expanding HealthNHand to other markets later this year. In addition to presenting our findings at CTA Health IT Philadelphia, MEMOTEXT will also be exhibiting at 2015 BIO in Philadelphia June 15-18. We hope to see you at either event to discuss HealthNHand.
